Matchbox Collectibles searched the automotive archives of four continents to find actual vehicles used to deliver the brews made by the twenty-four international brewmasters showcased in this collection. Even the livery art on each replica was carefully reviewed and approved by each brewery. As a result, each model captures the intricate details that gave the original vehicle its special place in motoring. This collection is the only of its kind available anywhere in the world. And it presents models and acclaimed brewmasters of rich and fascinating variety.

The Great Beers of the World collection was released between 1993 and 1996 and consists of 24 models celebrating 24 different brands of beer from all around the world. The models are generally the later release Models of Yesteryears and are presented on a plastic plinth in a very practical no window box which will stay very good in storage over a long period. There are a lot of these on the market so values tend to be low and pretty uniform across the range.
